Becoming a Member

SAUTE membership is open to persons teaching at a university (and/or engaged in scholarly research) in the field of English Studies.

SAUTE membership automatically includes ESSU  (European Society for the Study of English) membership and provides access to membership rates for SAUTE and ESSU conferences. Further benefits of SAUTE membership include access to the SAUTE mailing list, to SAUTE funding opportunities, as well as ESSU funding and awards.

New members are voted into SAUTE once per year, at the annual general meeting, which usually takes place in April/May. In order to apply for membership, please send a short bionote and a CV (2 pages max.) to the president of SAUTE.

New members will be contacted by the treasurer regarding the payment of membership fees (60 Fr. per year).
